By the grace of Allah a Conference on ( Dialogue: A Human Common Bond) was organized in Taipei, Taiwan by Muslim World League in cooperation with Chinese Muslim Association between 18-19 Rabuil AlAwwal 1432AH, corresponding to 21-22 February 2011.
The Conference was opened by H.E. Ma Ying- jeou , President of Taiwan who delivered a speech in which he emphasized that the civilization dialogue is highly significant as it helps all parties surmount substantial differences as well as crisis and strengthens human communalities to establish sustainable peaceful coexistence among different communities.
President Ma Ying-jeou on the morning of February 21 attended the opening ceremonies of a seminar on the theme of "Dialogue: A Human Common Bond," held by the Muslim World League. The president reiterated the government's respect for religious diversity and expressed his hopes that, by discussing common human values, this seminar will help promote greater interaction between various sectors in Taiwan and the Islamic world, thus enabling society to become more harmonious and the world more peaceful.
Under the patronage of His Excellency, the President of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the Muslim World League organizes an international conference on “Dialogue, a Common Human Bond” in cooperation with the Chinese Muslim Association which will be held on February 21-22, 2011 in the Taiwanese capital, Taipei.
The conference will discuss dialogue as a common human denominator through the following four themes:
