Makkah, Sha'ban 3, 1436, May 21, 2015, SPA -- The Islamic Fiqh Academy of the Muslim World League (MWL) has supported, in its 22nd session, what has been made by the Arab States' coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in response to the request of the legitimate government in Yemen, to maintain its security and stability, stressing that this is a legitimate duty evidenced by the compulsory religious texts to fight the unjust if it doesn't respond to the efforts of reconciliation.

Makkah, Rajab 28, 1436, May 17, 2015, SPA -- The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the sectarian-motivated attacks on the city of Al-Adhamiya in Iraq and the institutions of Sunnis, expressing concern on those practices, holding the Iraqi government responsible of their protection.
In a statement issued today, MWL said it received the news of the attack with concern and sadness, considering it a serious escalation which hurt security, stability and coexistence among the sects of Muslims in Iraq, stressing the need to ensure the adequate protection of those institutions, like other public institutions that are national responsibilities.

Makkah, Rajab 2, 1436, Apr 21, 2015, SPA -- The Muslims in various countries support 'Determination Storm' and express thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the Kingdom's stance and the Arab coalition against Houthi militias in Yemen.
This came in a statement issued today by Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL).
Dr. Al-Turki stressed that the Arab and Islamic nations have supported Determination Storm since its beginning.

The Secretariat General of the Muslim World League (the League) and its affiliate  Organizations, Centres and Offices  have strongly denounced the Israeli aggression on  the Gaza Strip which has been besieged for a long time ; and considered the shelling of cities and villages , subsequent causalities and destruction of mosques , residential units and other facilities indiscriminate targeting and an aggressive action.

Makkah, Ramadan 11, 1435, Jul 8, 2014, SPA -- The General Secretariat of Muslim World League has strongly denounced the terrorist attack that targeted a security center at Alwadee'ah border crossing point in the province of Sharorah carried out by a handful belonging to the deviant group leading to the martyrdom of four security men stationed at the border, and wounding several others.

The Secretariat expressed deep grief at this tragic calamity and sent its sincere condolences to the leadership and people of the Kingdom, particularly the families of the martyrs.

Association of Muslim Scholars

Makkah, Sha'ban 7, 1435, Jun 5, 2014, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Association of Muslim Scholars of the Muslim World League (MWL) issued here , a statement condemning the detention of underage girls in Nigeria by Boko Haram.
In its statement, the association emphasized that the principles of Islam and its teachings of tolerance deprive terrorizing innocent people, and do not allow the attack on the vulnerable elderly, women and children, even in a state of war with the enemy.
