30/5/1429H – 2/6/1429h - 4-6/6/2008
Since dialogue is one of the characteristics of Islamic religion and one of its sagacious means in the promulgation of its message as well as enlightening all people on its noble humane objectives , we find that the Qur'anic methodology encourages people to continue dialogue culture and consecrate its concept in the educational , behavioral formation of the Muslim individual.
Likewise, since dialogue today has become necessity and factuality among mankind of its various levels , as the whole world is witnessing numerous disorders , particularly the globalization culture , which is confronting us from all directions.
In fact , dialogue comes as a religious duty, ethical way and civilized method. In the respect , the Holy Qur'an has conspicuously projected the numerous dialogue methods with a view to rectifying and consecrating the creed . Additionally, the Sunnah of the Prophet gave due attention to the concern of the Holy Prophet with dialogue in the approach he followed in introducing Islam and its eternal heavenly tenets.
Indeed, the Muslim World League has done well by inviting people to this august conference , which is being held in Makkah Al-Mukarramah , in consultation with the leaders of the Islamic work, scholars , intellectuals all over the world to ratify the principles , conditions and terms which Muslims must follow in holding dialogue sessions with non-Muslims.
Significance of Coordination.
No doubt, coordination among Islamic organizations and commissions working in the fields of Dawah and relief, especially in area of dialogue, will remain a greater stake and the most difficult challenge before impeding us from achieving our noble common ends focusing on introducing Islam and objectives of its tolerant humane heavenly Message.. This is done via the following vision:
Firstly: Inter-Islamic dialogue: This is performed by the following:
