Man is an honest guard and commanded by Allah to fulfill certain religious obligations on earth and to preserve natural sources , pay attention to social and cultural considerations , and not to corrupt them. However, he is not a despotic owner , because it is believed that the owner of the universe is Allah the Creator. Despite the fact that man excels with his intellect and skills other creatures , that enjoy good and energy. Therefore, the rights of other creatures on the part of man is seen as an Islamic base and universe Sunnah.
Thus, for the sake of common living, emerges persistently the call for a new environmental conduct governed by ethics that observe environment and human values building positive coexistence relations, veneration and maintaining the rights of other creatures in life as well as relinquishing of selfishness, and terrorism affecting environment.
However, how can we create an objective dialogue that enhances the values of reformation and benevolence as well as establishing peace between man and environment?
Thus the dialogue that achieves the above requirement necessitates the observance of value bases:
Man is hostile to the unknown . Furthermore, ignorance of the laws pertaining to environment , its rights, its systems and secrets of its beauty is a fundamental factor for corruption of relation between man and its environment. Thus wise comprehension of environment and proper dealing with it are considered major incentive for its respect . In fact there won't be a meaningful dialogue unless man respects its pure air and water and life of its creature as well as proper utilization of its resources. Allah says, "But do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not(occasions for) mischief in the land; for Allah loves not those who do mischief." Qur'an 28:77
2- Moderation that protects environment resources.
Moderation is one of the values required for conducting successful dialogue with the environment . In fact the deterioration in relation between man and environment is manifested in his arrogance and extreme exploitation of its resources as well as exaggeration in its subjugation. Allah says:" yet was it ungrateful for the favors of Allah; so Allah made it taste of hunger and terror (in extremes)(closing in on it) like a garment(from every side), because of the (evil) which (its people) wrought." Qur'an 16: 112
It is known that biological diversity is an end intended by Allah in the universe for preserving its equilibrium and enriching its surrounding. Furthermore it is to be noticed that disagreement among people is a course destined by Allah. The Qur'anic verse says," if thy Lord had so willed, He could have made mankind one people; but they will not cease to differ."Qur'an 11: 118
Finally it is to be observed that the belief in the wisdom of the Creator in diversity and disagreement is a maor element of respect. Thus, comprehension and dialogue with the various components of environment which were created by Allah for reformation, benevolence and enrichment in this universe are indeed prerequisite.
