Islamabad, Safar 15, 1437, November 27, 2015, SPA -- The Secretary General of Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki has patronized the Islamic callers and scholars forum, organized by the University of Al-Ashrafiya in Islamabad, as part of his current visit to Pakistan.
During the event, which took place last night, the President of the University of Al-Ashrafiya Sheikh Fadh Raheem welcomed Dr. Al-Turki, noting that his patronage of the event which gathered a big number of Islamic scholars and callers from different parts of Pakistan is a source of pride to the University of Al-Ashrafiya, one of the great Islamic universities in the Indian semi-continent.
He lauded the efforts of MWL in the service of Islam and Muslims as well as the pioneering role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to bring about the unity of Muslims and avert their differences and sedition.
Also addressing the gathering, were Pakistan General Mufti Sheikh Taqi Othmani, who is also a member of the MWL's Islamic Jurisprudence Complex, and Pakistan's minister of religious affairs Sardar Mohammed Yousef, who each expressed the wish of Muslims to seen more efforts by MWL in the field of unifying Muslims.
