The Muslim World League ( the League) has organized, in collaboration with Risalat Association in Philippines, a Qur'anic Competition in Philippines that was composed of seven branches and in which 67 male and female Hafiz (those committing Qur'an to memory ) have participated.
H. E. Dr. Abdullah Ali Basfar, Secretary General of International Organizational for Memorization of Holy Qur'an, said , in implementation to the directive of H. E. Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Abdulkareem Aleisa, Secretary General of Muslim World League, the International Organizational for Memorization of Holy Qur'an has organized a Qur'anic competition in seven branches that comprise: Memorization of both the Holy Qur'an and "Gazariah" Peom on the perfect recitation of the Holy Qur'an- Memorization of both the Holy Qur'an and meaning of its words- Memorization of both the Holy Qur'an and 152 Hadiths (Prophet Tradition) from "Riyadh Al-Saliheen" Book on Hadith- Memorization of both the Holy Qur'an together practice of perfect intonation- Memorization of only fifteen sections (Juz') of the Holy Qur'an- Memorization of only five Sections (Juze)the Holy Qur'an- Memorization of the Text of "Omdat Al-Hkam" Book. Furthermore, the activities of the Competition was conducted and supervised by a six-member Arbitration Committee.
Commenting on some inquiries about the closure of the "International Organization for Mosques" (IOM), the League would like to state that
Dr. Al-Issa has received a delegation from the Foreign Relations Committee at the US Congress, and shared the vision and values of the MWL.

Makkah, 14 Dhu-AlQa'dah,1437 AH, 17 August,2016 , SPA -- The Secretary General of Muslim World League Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa met here today Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turki, adviser at the Royal Court.
Dr. Al-Turki congratulated Dr. Al-Issa on his appointment as Secretary General of the Muslim World League, wishing him all success in his new mission to serve the Islamic action.

Makkah, Dhu-AlQa'dah 11, 1437, Aug 14, 2016, SPA -- Secretary General of the Muslim World League Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Isa confirmed that the Islamic Action of the League is of great importance in light of the transformations and contemporary developments, noting that this work will be clear and transparent for all to reflect the reality of Islam, its universality and eminence as an extension of the League's efforts through its eventual history since its inception.
This came during his meeting with employees of the MWL here today.
His Excellency Dr. Mohammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa started his work as Secretary General of the Muslim World League on 11/6/1437 H. As a Successor to His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Turki.
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Zaid, the Assistant Secretary of the Muslim World League on the behalf of the employees of the MWL congratulated His Excellency Dr. Mohammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, praying to Allah Almighty to help him and grant him success in his honoralde mission and thanked to his Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmuhsin Al-Turki, for his blessed efforts during his work as Secretary General of the Muslim World League.
Makkah, Sha'ban 25, 1437, Jun 1, 2016, SPA -- Dr. Saad bin Ali Al-Shahrani, Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), has strongly expressed disapproval regarding the Iranian obstinacy for rejecting organizing affairs of Hajj and its insistence intransigence to politicize this rite, stressing that the Iranian government is responsible for preventing its citizens from participating in Hajj this year.
