After Visiting the Fiqh Council and Meeting with the Teachers and Students of University of Africa Dr. Al-Turki Says: “Sudan is Brimming with well Qualified and Educated Talent”
The Muslim World League (MWL) delegation led by the MWL Secretary-General arrived in Sudan on 2/6/1434 A.H. to participate in a seminar on “Islam and Challenges of Africa” which is organized by the MWL in conjunction with Omdurman Islamic University between 4-6/6/1434 A.H. in Khartoum.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turki on 22/05/1434H opened a seminar on "Mosques and Their Role in Reform of the Society" which was organized by the Muslim World League in Libreville, Gabon in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (SCIA) in Gabon under the auspices of President of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba. The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Gabon, Adnan Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Mandeel and representatives of the churches in Gabon.
The Secretary-General of Muslim World League, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki visited Islamic Fiqh Academy in Khartoum on 06/03/1434 A.H., and was received by its Chairman Dr. Issam Bin Ahmad Al-Bashir, the Secretary-General Sheikh Abdullah Al-Zubair and other members of the Academy.
He moved around various departments of the Academy and viewed several images that portrayed the history of Islamic Fiqh Academy.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulmohsin Al-Turki visited the Embassy of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Tanzania on Thursday 1/6/1434 A.H. He was received by the Saudi Ambassador in Tanzania Mr. Hani Abdullah Mominah and other officials of the embassy.
Dr. Al-Turki expressed his happiness for this visit, wishing every one more success, and he pointed out to the support that the MWL has been receiving from the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which does everything it can to serve Islam and Muslims.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League received in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Thursday 1/6/1434 A.H. the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Institution of Sheikhs and Muslim Scholars in Tanzania Mr. Muhammad Othman and some members of the Institution.
Dr. Al-Turki listened to a comprehensive presentation about the Institution, its objectives and activities as well as the tasks that it performs in the service of Islam and Muslims in Tanzania.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulmohsin visited on Thursday 1/6/1434 A.H. the former President of Tanzania Mr. Ali Hassan Mwinyi.
Dr. Al-Turki expressed his happiness for this visit and thanked him for his invitation to organize a seminar on “Islamic Culture in East Africa” which was organized by the MWL in conjunction with the Institution of Sheikhs and Muslim scholars of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulmohsin Al-Turki arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Monday 27/5/1434 A.H. On his arrival at the airport, Dr. Al-Turki, who is visiting a number of African countries to take stock of the Islamic work there, was received by the former President of Tanzania, Mr. Ali Hassan Mwinyi.
The Muslim World League held a seminar on “Islam and development of Society” headed by the MWL Secretary-General Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, on Sunday 26/5/1434 A.H., in conjunction with the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (SCIA) in Brazzaville, Congo. The seminar was attended by a number of Ambassadors from around the world.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki visited on Saturday 25/5/1434 A.H. the headquarters of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (SCIA) in Brazzaville. He was received by the SCIA Chairman Sheikh Jibril Abdullah Bubaka who welcomed the MWL delegation which is currently visiting Brazzaville to inspect the conditions of Muslims and hold a conference on “Islam and Development of Society.”
