Makkah, Rabi'I 23, 1437, Jan 3, 2016, SPA -- The General Secretariat of Muslim World League (MWL) has confirmed that the execution of legal rulings against whoever proves guilty of committing crimes according to the statement issued yesterday by the Ministry of Interior was based on the Holy Quran and Prophetic Sunnah without any discrimination due to faith, race or nationality to achieve justice and security for citizens and expatriates in this holy county following the saying ordained by Allah Almighty: (The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off from opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.)

This came in a statement issued by the MWL Secretary General, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki in which he pointed out that the criminal acts carried out by the terrorists who targeted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's security, implemented the criminal operations in its territory and committed heinous crimes resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of security men and innocent people.
It also emphasized that Muslims all over the world are proud of the Kingdom's implementation of Sharia law against those unjust people and appreciate its keenness on its application of it on all their walks of life as well as its keenness on provision of security in this blessed country, hailing what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince of security, stability and prosperity, thanks to Allah Almighty and the application of Sharia law.
